On 28th May 2010, only the second Ladies Luncheon in the history of the Life Insurance Association Cork Region was hosted by LIA Chairwoman, Clodagh Sheehan and her committee in the Imperial Hotel, Cork.
The event was a great success attracting a large number of guests from various backgrounds in the Life, Pensions and wider financial services industry.
The guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch followed by an inspiration & motivational talk by Veronica Canning, author of Shoeisms: Working Woman's Guide to Take Control and Be the Sassy, Successful Woman You Know You Can Be.
The topic of day was “Breaking the Glass Slipper and not the Glass Ceiling”. A truly memorable luncheon and one that it is hoped to be repeated in the coming years.
